Our new-look Sucrogen brand fittingly made its public debut at Australia's Clipsal 500 V8 Supercar Series in Adelaide in March 2010. This follows V8 Supercars Australia making the switch to E85 at the beginning of the ‘09 season. They now use our blend of 85% ethanol and 15% petrol to fuel supercars.
Thrills and spills powered by Sucrogen renewable fuel
Using ethanol to power V8 Supercars results in 50% less CO₂ emissions than petrol from ‘Well-to-Wheel’. This means throughout all stages of its life - from production to engine - E85 has far less impact on the environment than petrol.
