Our Cane Products arm isn’t just the largest raw sugar producer in Australia, it’s also the eighth largest producer globally, creating around 4 percent of the world’s internationally traded sugar.
Our highly efficient raw sugar milling operation means we are Australia’s leading sugar makers. During the cane crushing season – usually June to December - our mills operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with a combined production capacity of about 2 million tonnes of raw sugar per year.
Green energy is sweeter for all our businesses
We are committed to green energy production and sustainable business practices for our sugar milling, farming and harvesting businesses. We’re proud to own and operate two large cogeneration plants which create electricity from bagasse – a by-product of the sugar production process. Bagasse is used to fuel our boilers and provide power for our factories.
