Some think of ethanol as a new fuel, yet we've been a trusted supplier of industrial ethanol for over 100 years.

As Australia's primary producer of sugarcane-based ethanol products for fuel and industrial uses, we’re ideally placed to meet a growing demand for renewable energy. Our business also makes fertiliser and operates a small agency interest for chemicals, solvents and food ingredients.

The ultimate renewable life cycle

With an eye on sustainability, we follow a renewable cycle for our sugar-derived ethanol products. It works like this:

• the sugar milling process creates a by-product called molasses. We distill this to produce ethanol.
• the ethanol distilling process creates a by-product called BioDunder™, which is treated to create a liquid fertiliser.
• this fertiliser is sold to cane growers to fertilise their sugar crops – and the whole cycle begins again.
