Ian Glasson

Chief Executive Officer

Ian started out as a graduate engineer with Esso Australia, followed by a successful career with Exxon Corporation. He then acquired extensive experience in food and agribusiness companies, including Leiner Davis Gelatin and Goodman Fielder’s global Food Ingredients.

Before joining Sucrogen (formerly CSR Sugar) as CEO in 2006, Ian was Managing Director of Gresham Rabo Management Limited, a private equity company specialising in food and agribusiness investments.

Ian’s unique mix of agribusiness and biofuel operations experience means he is ideally qualified to lead Sucrogen as we consolidate our position in our core sugar business and pursue new opportunities in renewable energy.
