We’re excited about developing the full potential of sugar as a renewable and sustainable resource and creating products that are better for everyone.
Where we come from
We started life as the Colonial Sugar Refining Company (CSR Ltd) and for generations the CSR and Chelsea consumer brands have been household favourites. With three refineries capable of producing 970kt of sugar annually, we’re the largest sugar refiner in Australia and New Zealand.
Where we’re going
But there’s a great deal more to Sucrogen than refined sugar.
We’re a major player in renewable energy, ethanol and cogeneration through our smart and sustainable use of sugar by-products.
